What is Corporate Sustainability System (CSS)?

A Corporate Sustainability System (CSS) is a systematic and holistic management approach implemented within an organization to establish, manage, monitor, and continuously improve its sustainability capabilities across environmental, social, governance, and stakeholder management dimensions.

What is the Corporate Sustainability Rating (CSR) System?

SusdeX Corporate Sustainability Rating (CSR) System has a multi-layered assessment model that addresses environmental, social, and governance dimensions through a holistic approach, is based on scientific foundations, and is aligned with international standards. During the development process of the model, globally accepted reporting standards, frameworks, regulations, and best practice examples in the field of sustainability were taken into consideration, and the criteria and metrics were structured in alignment with these international references.

What are the aims of the Corporate Sustainability Rating (CSR) System?

The CSR system is not merely a scoring mechanism that measures performance indicators; it is also a comprehensive analysis model that evaluates organizations’ sustainability risks, opportunities, governance structures, management systems, practices, and strategic maturity levels. In this way, organizations’ current situations and development potentials are addressed together, and their capacity to create sustainable value is evaluated from a holistic perspective.

Let us help you take the first step toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. Together, we can achieve your goals and unlock your full potential.

What kind of model does the CSR System use?

The scientific infrastructure of the model has been developed in alignment with international standards through the contributions of academic experts in the fields of environmental sustainability, social sustainability, governance, and stakeholder management, and is regularly updated. While the Academic Advisory Board reviews the scientific validity, methodological consistency, and currency of the assessment criteria, the Sectoral Advisory Board contributes to ensuring that the model is aligned with the needs, dynamics, and implementation realities of different sectors. Thus, the system possesses a structure that is both academically strong and highly functional in practice.

CSR System uses a multi-stage methodology that includes data verification, evidence-based assessment, expert analysis, and independent rating processes. Assessments are conducted by trained expert analysts, and the final results are reviewed and decided upon by the independent Rating Committee. This structure ensures that assessment processes are conducted in an objective, transparent, consistent, and reliable manner.

As a result, SusdeX CSR system is a holistic sustainability assessment and rating model that is aligned with international standards, scientifically grounded, supported by academic and sectoral expert opinions, based on verifiable data, and assured through independent assessment mechanisms.

How can I benefit from the CSR System?

Organizations wishing to utilize the Corporate Sustainability Rating (CSR) system must follow a specific workflow. The process essentially consists of three main stages: Application Process, Data Entry Process, and Evaluation Process.

This structure ensures that evaluations are conducted systematically, transparently, verifiably, and comparably.

The CSR is designed to be accessible to all institutions and organizations, regardless of their sector, scale, organizational structure, or ownership model. Public institutions, private sector businesses, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, service businesses, manufacturing facilities, and other organizations can benefit from the system. Because the evaluation model has a flexible structure that takes into account the characteristics of different sectors and fields of activity, each institution is evaluated based on criteria appropriate to its scope of activity.

During the application process, the institution registers with the SusdeX system, creates an evaluation request, and enters its corporate profile information into the system. At this stage, the institution's field of activity, sector information, and other basic information are defined in the system to create the framework for the evaluation process. Thus, evaluation criteria and data sets appropriate to the institution's scope of activity are determined.

In the Data Entry Process, the organization enters the requested data on environmental, social, and governance dimensions into the system and uploads documents, records, reports, policies, procedures, certificates, or other supporting evidence documents that meet the relevant criteria. One of the fundamental principles of the assessment system is an evidence-based analysis approach. Therefore, it is expected that the information entered into the system is supported by verifiable documents and records as much as possible. However, some criteria or data fields may fall outside the scope of the organization's activities. For example, environmental impacts specific to certain sectors or indicators that are meaningful only for organizations of a certain size may not be applicable to every organization. In such cases, entering the relevant data is not mandatory, and the assessment is carried out only based on the criteria within the organization's scope of activities.

Following the completion of the data entry process, the assessment phase begins. In this phase, SusdeX Assessment Experts (Analysts) conduct a comprehensive analysis by reviewing the data and supporting evidence uploaded to the system. Additional information or clarification may be requested as needed. As a result of the reviews, the organization's environmental, social, and governance performance, sustainability maturity level, strengths, and areas for improvement are determined. Analyst assessments are scored in accordance with SusdeX methodologies, and rating results are generated.

Following the completion of the evaluation process, the final results are presented to the organization via the SusdeX system. The organization can access detailed evaluation results, performance analyses, and outputs regarding areas for improvement. Organizations that successfully complete the rating process are also awarded a SusdeX Rating Certificate. This certificate serves as an important reference demonstrating that the organization's sustainability performance has undergone an independent, systematic, and evidence-based evaluation process.
